Winter Break Camps

Winter camps at One River School allow students grades K-12 to experience mini versions of One River School’s most popular summer camp programs during their winter school breaks.

Explore unique watercolor wonderlands! Students will be exposed to a variety of wonderlands and their inhabitants, which will become the main source of inspiration for these projects.

Arctic Wildlife

Learning to draw realistically is a crucial and fundamental skill for any aspiring artist. Students will study various animal anatomies to help them create accurate, proportionate and to scale drawings.

Students will create original characters and a storyline inspired by Pixar comics and the artistic process of animators. Students will use Sketchbook Pro to design their characters and a movie advertisement.

Sculpting Winter Creatures

Students explore their innovation and creativity through original arctic creations, while developing skills working in the three-dimensional realm. This class will be a platform to expand art making processes.

Comic Book Creations

Explore comic book creation and storytelling in this cartooning camp. Students will create their own comic book from beginning to end - creating original characters, a dynamic plot and learning new techniques.
