Drawing Intensive

Our Drawing Intensive is a two-week course geared for the most serious and dedicated pre-college students. Students will cover overarching drawing concepts that relate to understanding and developing skills around essential foundations. The ‘big ideas’ include being able to use formal techniques such as perspective, value, and observational drawing skills. Students will develop skills through mark making, experimentation, and completing a series of drawings across various dry drawing media. 

• Learn how to use charcoal, blending stumps, micron pens, chalk pastels, etc
• Demonstrate the understanding of new techniques and strengthen pre-existing skills
• Complete a series of studies and one final drawing combining various techniques
